The beautiful windows in Saint Sylvester Church are products of artists and craftsmen from Pittsburgh. They were made and fused into their lovely richness of color and detail in the Hunt Studios on Carson Street. The main theme of each window is explained beside each figure.

The windows on the Gospel side of the Church (congregation's left) carry the theme "Saints of Our Time.":

	The Assumption of Our Lady This beautiful window proclaims the explicit dogma of our time for on November 1, 1950 Our Holy Father proclaimed Our Lady's Assumption into Heaven corporally after death.
	Saint Jude the Apostle He came into prominence in the twentieth century as the patron of hopeless cases.
	Saint Anthony of Padua The great Franciscan Friar beloved by all for his charming simplicity in his love for God and fellowmen.
	Saint Vincent De Paul The founder of the Vincentians and the exemplar of social work in the Church of modern world.
	Saint Gerard Majella A Redemptorist, the exemplar and preacher of Christian Family Life in the modern world.
	Saint Therese of Lisieux A Carmelite, a lovely gentle saint of the modern world.
	Saint Pius X The saintly Pope of the modern world. Pope of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
