STAINED GLASS WINDOWS - Other Windows

The beautiful windows in Saint Sylvester Church are products of artists and craftsmen from Pittsburgh. They were made and fused into their lovely richness of color and detail in the Hunt Studios on Carson Street. The main theme of each window is explained beside each figure.


Other windows in the Church:

The great Rose Window.
Above the main entrance, this window depicts the Lamb of God and the victory of Christ over death for our salvation.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Depicts God's love for us, and the call for us to share our love with one another.
The Sanctuary window on the Gospel Side.
Symbolizes Saint John and Saint Luke.
The Sanctuary window on the Epistle Side.
Symbolizes Saint Mark and Saint Matthew.
